The science behind the electronic cigarette is simple. It involves using a battery-powered atomiser to heat a nicotine liquid to the point of vaporisation. When the liquid reaches a certain temperature it is transformed into an aerosol mist which the user then inhales.
If you want to see a diagram of an electronic cigarette, Discovery Networks How Stuff Works provides a great sample. Needless to say, the technology is the same technology used safely in medical vaporisers and theatrical smoke effect machines for decades.
This could be one of the most important questions regarding e-cigarettes. Why? Because there is so much misunderstanding among non-smokers thanks to media distortions and the realistic appearance of e-cigarette vapour. However, simply put, electronic syrups produce absolutely no smoke whatsoever.
In order to create tobacco smoke you need two things: tobacco and combustion. E-cigarettes utilise neither. The vapour cloud emitted by the e-cig user contains ingredients already deemed as "mostly safe" by several world health bodies. If you would like to know more about e-liquid ingredients, the Tobacco Vapor Electronic Cigarette Association offers quite a few scientific analysis reports.
Another misconception about electronic cigarettes is that the nicotine we use is dangerous. In the strictest sense of the term, nicotine is dangerous if not handled properly. Nevertheless, as long as instructions are followed, you have absolutely nothing to worry about.
In terms of inhaling nicotine, please understand it is no more dangerous (in moderation) than caffeine. It is not nicotine that causes most of the problems associated with tobacco smoking, it is the smoke. For more information regarding the safety of nicotine, please visit the CASAA website.

Most people prefer to try a VAPESTICK® Starter Kit in the first instance. Our Classic model is popular because it looks and feels the same as a traditional cigarette, and the MAX is popular with those vapers looking for maximum battery life and the strongest possible throat hit. Inside every VAPESTICK® Starter Kit you are supplied with 5 or 6 Cartomisers, with each one delivering the equivalent ‘smoke time’ as approximately 30 cigarettes. These will be an assortment of flavours and nicotine strengths, allowing you test all flavours before choosing your favourite. Also in the starter kits you will find 2 rechargeable batteries, a carry pouch, a wall adapter, a USB charger and a V Card. For XL models, they include a V Charger Case, so there's no need for a Wall Plug Adaptor (sold seperately, if required).
The batteries in your starter kit will only be partly charged when you receive it. As with a new mobile phone, we recommend you fully charge the batteries for 6 to 8 hours on their first charge, in order to maximise battery life. After that first initial charge it will usually take around 1½ to 2 hours to recharge a fully depleted battery.
Once your battery is fully charged, simply screw one of the included Cartomisers to the battery and you are good to vape!
A common question! The official answer is "NO". Electronic cigarettes are not approved 'smoking cessation' devices and are not approved as such by the relevant governing bodies. In reality, you can use your VAPESTICK® for any reason you like, provided firstly, you are over 18 and secondly, you should only consider using nicotine-containing cartomisers if you are already a nicotine user. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding then we recommend you to discuss with your doctor before use.
Whether you are looking for style or function, or both, there is sure to be a model in our range that is right for you. For maximum convenience, our V1 disposables are extremely popular. In terms of rechargeable models, we have everything from the Classic, which looks just like a real cigarette, through to the XL model, which add a touch of style, elegance and advanced performance,(as well as a V Charger Case), and up to the MAX, for the ultimate vaping experience available.
Almost anywhere you like! It is legal to use an electronic cigarette in all those public places affected by the Smoking Ban, as it does not include any ‘lit tobacco’. Individual companies may decide they don’t want to allow the use of electronic cigarettes in their premises or vehicles, and you should of course adhere to these policies. The only place you should probably avoid using an electronic cigarette is when in the bath or a swimming pool, due to the risk of permanent water damage to the device.
We offer 2 types of V Charger Case. One works with our Classic/Design models, the other works differently, for our XL model.
Full instructions are found in the Instruction Manual supplied with your V Charger Case. As you here now though, we will give you a brief run through!
The first thing to do is charge up the V Charger Case itself, using the mini-USB lead supplied. Attach the mini-USB plug to the port on the underneath of the case and the other end into any compatible USB socket (as found on most laptops, PC or XBox etc).
Once fully charged, the blue LED screen on the front panel will show 5 black bars when you briefly press the silver button next to the screen.
You are now ready to load your fully assembled Classic or Design VAPESTICK into the case, using the ‘rear-right hand side’ slot inside the case. Then, load your spare battery into the ‘front-right side’ slot inside the case, with the connector side facing downwards. You can then screw that spare battery down into the case until it is fully secured. Then hold and depress the silver button on the front panel for around 3 seconds, until the indicator light starts to flash green. After 3 seconds it will change to red, meaning the spare battery is now being charged. If the light stays green after flashing, it means the spare battery is already fully charged.
The remaining slots inside the case can then hold up to 3 spare cartomisers. After about 2 hours, if you press the silver button again briefly, the indicator will have chnaged from red to green and your spare battery is now fully charged.
Charge the case using the mini-USB charger lead provided in the starter kit. Once charged it will show 4 black bars on the LED screen when you press the button.
Your full XL sits in the far right-side slot. The second-from right slot is where your spare battery is dropped, connector side facing down, and the 3 remaining slots are for your spare cartomisers, whcih should be stored so you can still see the coloured flavour bands when inserted.
There is no need to screw the battery into the slot to begin the charging process. Simply close the lid, then hold and depress the button on the front of the case for a few seconds, until the display changes to red and a charging symbol appears.
Please note: Whenever you open the lid, you will need to restart/continue the charging process, as above.
Once the screen shows blue again, the spare battery will be charged.
Case Reset: Occasionally the XL Charger Case will require a reset. You will know this if the screen appears blank (doesn't light up), even though the case is charged. To do a reset, simply click the button on the case 5 times in succession, and the case will spring back to life.
We hope you will now enjoy the style and convenience provided by your chosen V Charger Case!
